Exiting/Application for Graduation

Application for graduation should be made during registration of the semester prior (not bi-term) to the semester the student expects to complete their work. Applications filed after the announced deadlines will automatically be placed with the next graduate list.

Specific requirements for each program are contained within the School or Departmental sections of this Catalog as well as on the website under Academic programs at Programs - University of the Cumberlands (uofcumberlands.com)

Graduation Commencement Participation

University of the Cumberlands holds commencement ceremonies twice a year: one in May at the end of the Spring semester, and one in December at the end of the Fall semester. These ceremonies are intended to recognize students who will complete all graduation requirements by the end of the corresponding semester. In order to participate in the Graduate Commencement Ceremony, a student is required to fully satisfy all degree and program requirements prior to the date of the event.
