IECE 437 - Health, Safety, and Nutrition


Credit: 3 hours
This course builds on IECE 132 - Child Development and Learning I  and IECE 232 - Child Development and Learning II , and is designed to provide the candidate with a comprehensive understanding of the nutrition, health, and safety needs of children from birth through school age. Candidates learn when, where, and how to make health care referrals for young children. Candidates develop a working knowledge of all applicable health regulations for young children. Candidates are required to become trained in CPR. There are 10 field hours required for this course. Field Experience hours required.
