HLTH 490 - Strategies and Practices for Health Education Professionals.

This capstone course will provide a comprehensive overview of principles, strategies, and competencies needed for a career in the field of health education and promotion. Course content will focus on the areas of responsibility required of health education specialists as outlined by the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing (NCHEC) and will assist in preparation for the Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) national certification exam.
Prerequisite(s): Completion of HLTH 431, HLTH 437 and senior status
