CES 738 - Advanced Quantitative Research Design


Credit(s): 3 hours
This course focuses on the application of inferential statistics and incorporation of advanced statistical techniques. Specific concepts include developing research instruments, assessment of the reliability and validity of research instruments, analysis and interpretation of survey results, use of Cronbach’s alpha, factor analysis, multiple regression, multivariate analysis of variance, and other advanced statistical tests used in research. Students will be exposed to the use of statistical software to analyze data using various statistical tests. Topics covered in this course would allow the application of knowledge in the analysis of data in a quantitative dissertation.
