CES 835 - Online Teaching & Learning in Counselor Education

This course provides the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively design an online course, develop curriculum, and deliver it digitally. Instruction focuses on online learning environments, instructional design strategies, methods and best practices of teaching and learning online, assessment, responding to diverse needs, self-care for faculty and students, and ethical and legal concerns. Discussion is also provided on learning management systems (LMS) and communication management software.
