MSAI 699 - Capstone Course

Credit(s): 1 hour
This capstone course is designed to allow students to integrate and apply the knowledge acquired over their entire program of study to develop an academic paper or project on a practical business need or business-related problem that contributes to the professional body of knowledge of business and improves business practice. The course will assess students’ overall learning experience and intellectual growth in their discipline of study. The course should be taken during the final semester of study.

Upon the completion of the course, students will be able to

:•Develop and complete a research paper or project in business and business-related settings that improve business practice.

•Identify and synthesize a range of research literature in a logical, clear, and concise manner.

•Identify recommendations and discuss implications for evidence-based practice based upon the literature synthesis.

•Demonstrate the ability to effectively communicate research findings that contributes to the professional body of knowledge of business.
