SCM 615 - Supply Chain Management Operation and Production Technologies


Credit(s): 3 hours
This course focuses on the concepts and techniques used to support and coordinate the operational functions of a firm’s supply chain. The course introduces and utilizes software tools to model and analyze the processes used to efficiently develop and deliver products and services through a supply chain. Emerging technologies, including Artificial Intelligence for SCM, will be examined.

Upon Completion of this Course, Students will:

  • Document and measure operational performance in a supply chain
  • Model, measure, and analyze operational functions
  • Work with conflicting objectives and constraints to maximize performance
  • Use managerial tools and software to support supply-chain operations
  • Better manage the flows of products and operations through a supply chain
