This course emphasizes the dynamics of inventory management, warehouse operations, capacity planning, and managing multi-facility networks. Topics include inventory management systems, warehouse layouts and management, order-picking strategies, material requirements planning systems, and forecasting models and methods.

Upon Completion of this Course, Students will:

Understand the evolution of modern warehousing and distribution centers and their impact on supply-chains
Develop efficient warehouse layouts and flows
Define appropriate picking strategies and technologies for different applications
