Major Requirements

Major Requirements: 39 to 54 Credit Hours

Bachelor of Arts students must take 12 credits of the Lower Division General Education requirement in the same foreign language.

Students may enroll in one emphasis area to complete the major or two emphasis areas to complete the major and satisfy the graduation requirement of a minor. Some courses will overlap, but students must complete at least 53 credit hours in COMM courses to meet the major and minor requirement.

If double-emphasis courses overlap, the students must complete the credit hour requirement by choosing other courses in the group.
