The master’s degree in supply-chain management seeks to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to manage complex supply-chain systems effectively. Program goals and outcomes programs include:

Students will develop advanced knowledge, relevant managerial skills, and technical expertise necessary to develop, control, enhance, and effectively manage a complex supply-chain system	Students will have a thorough understanding of the principles of and applications that Supply Chain Management is used for in contemporary commerce. Students will be able to develop models and conduct sophisticated analyses using analytical tools and techniques to support Supply Chain Management.
Students will develop critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to address supply chain challenges, such as cost reduction, risk management, and supply chain disruptions	Students will be able to recognize and structure complex supply chain problems, utilize ethical reasoning skills, and work to enhance the value chain in business and organizational settings
Students will acquire technology skills associated with supply chain management and operation.	Students will demonstrate proficiency with modern SCM technology applications, personal productivity tools, and management software.
Students will develop communication and collaboration skills necessary to work effectively with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and customers	Students will be able to work in a team environment and effectively communicate their recommendations for Supply Chain Management and interface with stakeholders from different functional areas of the organization.
Students will learn to apply an ethical decision-making framework to decisions with ethical considerations.	Students will be able to apply ethical reasoning skills and behavior to ethical issues in the supply chain management profession and practice.

Ultimately, the goal of the master’s program in supply chain management is to prepare graduates to lead and manage complex supply-chain systems, drive innovation, effectively utilize technology, and create value for organizations and stakeholders. The program goals for the master’s in supply chain management are aligned with the APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional certification.

Due to the applied learning component required for the degree program, Executive format students must enroll in INTR every term of enrollment.
