Artificial Intelligence, M.S.


Students will develop skills needed to design, implement, and manage AI systems and solutions in a variety of professional settings. The program combines theoretical learning with practical, hands-on, project-based learning, allowing students to apply their knowledge to real-world scenarios

Program Goals:

Students will develop proficiency in advanced artificial intelligence concepts, develop relevant AI skills, and learn appropriate techniques for AI deployment in various industries.

Learning Outcomes:
  1. Students will acquire the comprehensive knowledge and skills needed to implement complex AI applications.
  2. Students will be able to conduct advanced analyses using relevant nalytical tools, techniques, and technologies.
  3. Students will learn to apply research-oriented strategies that will help them remain current in this dynamic field.
  4. Students will be capable of applying appropriate reasoning abilities and behavioral norms to ethical dilemmas in the deployment of artificial intelligence applications.
  5. Students will be proficient in collaborating with a team and effectively articulating recommendations for AI solutions and adhering to professional standards

The Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence is comprised of (30) hours of core required credit hours, and one 
(1) additional credit hour for a Capstone styled course or Applied Learning Practicum:

*All online students who are seeking to earn this degree must take this course in lieu of INTR 599, in addition to meeting all program degree requirements. Executive format students can substitute the required INTR 599 course in lieu of this course as part of their program degree requirements. 

** Executive format programs have an applied learning component (internship or practicum) that is an integral and essential part of the established curriculum. Due to the applied learning component required for the degree program, Executive format students must enroll in INTR every term of enrollment.
