The Master of Science in Business Analytics is designed to equip students with practical knowledge of data analytics and a full range of state-of-the-art business analytics tools and techniques with relevant industry context for data-driven decision-making. The cutting-edge curriculum provides the foundation to apply business and data analytics to the rapidly changing business and industry challenges that business professionals encounter throughout their careers.
Learning Outcomes:
- Students will develop the analytics skills to collect, visualize, and analyze data to support business decision-making.
- Students will gain hands-on experience with state-of-the-art business analytics tools and innovative techniques and their applications across multiple business disciplines.
- Students will gain experience working in a team setting and develop the interpersonal skills required to communicate effectively, interact, and work in today’s rapidly changing business environment.
- Students will learn to incorporate ethical reasoning skills and behavior to make sound, data-driven recommendations and decisions.
- Students will be able to conduct rigorous research and apply research-based strategies that integrate theory and practical applications across business functional areas in the context of overall business operations.
The Master of Science in Business Analytics is comprised of eighteen (18) credit hours of core required credit hours, twelve (12) credit hours of electives, and one (1) additional credit hour for a capstone-styled course or Applied Learning Practicum.

*All online students who are seeking to earn this degree must take this course in lieu of INTR 599, in addition to meeting all program degree requirements. Executive format students can substitute the required INTR 599 course in lieu of this course as part of their program degree requirements.
** Executive format programs have an applied learning component (internship or practicum) that is an integral and essential part of the established curriculum. Due to the applied learning component required for the degree program, Executive format students must enroll in INTR every term of enrollment.
