BIOL 121 - Medical Terminology

An introduction to the construction and definition of scientific and medically related terms. Emphasis is placed on Greek and Latin roots, suffixes, prefixes, and combining forms that comprise the vocabulary of a biological scientist. Special emphasis is placed on pronunciation and spelling. Two lecture hours per week.
