BIOL 240 - Introductory Microbiology

Credit: 4 hours
A study of the morphology, physiology, and taxonomy of bacteria and other micro-organisms, use of microscope, staining and culture techniques. Emphasis will be place on the study of common pathogenic organisms. This course does not count as part of the biology major requirements. Three lectures and two hours of laboratory per week. This course does not count as part of the biology major requirements.
