BACC 433 - Advanced Accounting Credit: 3 hours This course is a presentation of the basic principles supporting the acquisition method of accounting for business combinations, presentation of consolidated financial statements, and accounting for special issues concerning an investment in a subsidiary. Additional special topics include translation of foreign subsidiary financial statements, hedging, securities and exchange reporting, bankruptcy, financial reporting of partnerships, and comparison of U.S. GAAP and IFRS standards. Prerequisite(s): BACC 332 and senior standing Offered: spring semesters
