MSL 302 - Applied Leadership in Small Unit Operations Credit: 3 hours This course focuses on applied leadership in small unit operations. It is an academically challenging course where Cadets will study, practice, and apply the fundamentals of direct level leadership and small unit tactics at the platoon level. At the conclusion of this course, Cadets will be capable of planning, coordinating, navigating, motivating and leading a platoon in the execution of a mission. Successful completion of this course will help prepare Cadets for the Advanced Camp Practicum, which occurs in the summer at Fort Knox, KY. Includes a weekly lab using peer facilitation, supervised by MS IV Cadets and Cadre. Three lecture hours and three laboratory hours per week. Prerequisite(s): MSL 301 Offered: in spring semesters
