NURS 101 - Medical Terminology

Credit: 3 hours
This course will lay the foundation for success in the health care field. Students will develop a basic medical terminology vocabulary for use in the health care setting. This course teaches students to analyze individual medical word parts such as prefixes, suffixes and word roots and also covers the function, structure, pathology, diagnostic procedures, treatment procedures, and abbreviations of each body system.
