CES 730 - Andragogy in Counselor Education and Supervision

This course explores advanced theories and principles of andragogy as specifically applied to counselor education. Doctoral students will critically examine adult learning theories, andragogical methodologies, and instructional practices tailored for graduate-level counseling programs. Through an emphasis on experiential learning, transformational education, and culturally responsive teaching, students will explore principles of facilitating adult motivation, addressing diverse learning styles, enhancing critical reflection, and creating inclusive learning environments.
