CES 835 - Teaching and Instructional Design in Counselor Education

This course provides the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively design courses, develop curriculum through multiple delivery methods. Instruction focuses on diverse learning environments, instructional design strategies, methods and best practices of teaching and learning. The class will focus on responding to diverse needs and apply universal design for learning. Discussion will also focus on self-care for faculty and students, and ethical and legal concerns.
