CRJS 338 - Homeland Security


Credits: 3 hours
This course is designed to familiarize students with homeland security policies and procedures initiated following the attacks on 9/11. Students will be able to compare and contrast homeland security strategy as it relates to the federal, state, local and private sectors. Students will be able to identify the relations between the government, military and private sector as it relates to the implementation of homeland security policy. Students will be able to clearly identify what role homeland security plays in the daily protection of our borders, airways, land transportation, waterways and ports.
Prerequisite(s): CRJS 131 , CRJS 234
