CRJS 432 - Criminal Victimization


Credits: 3 hours
This course focuses on the entire victim-offender relationship, while taking a global perspective on the study of victimology. Students will be introduced to traditional victimology theories, the measurement crime, and both civil and criminal processes. Students will discuss responses to victimization, including techniques for empowering victims and the civil remedies available to crime victims.
Prerequisite(s): CRJS 131 , CRJS 233
