EDUC 235 - Basic Concepts Concerning Education

An overview of teaching through a study of the historical, social, and philosophical foundations of American Education with an orientation to an analysis of the organization and function of today’s school. Litigation an legislation related to schools are also presented. Field experience hours required. This course is required of all students in teacher education.
