ENGL 339 - Studies in Creative Writing: Nonfiction

Credits: 3 hours
This course studies the field of creative nonfiction and its various genres through extensive reading in and about nonfiction. The variation of nonfiction writing will be discussed and noted as students focus on craft requirements for different subgenres and present work for feedback through a workshop format. Issues of ethics in the field of nonfiction will be considered, as will the overlap of fiction and nonfiction.
