ENGL 430 - Literary Criticism

Credits: 3 hours
Students in this course will be introduced to various critical approaches to the study of literature then apply their knowledge of the critical literary theories to complete a literary portfolio. In addition, the English exit exam that is a graduation requirement for an English major will now be a component in this class. Restricted to English majors or minors or English education emphasis students unless permission is given by the department chair.
Prerequisite(s): junior or senior standing or with permission of instructor and Department Chair
