ESS 337 - Historical and Contemporary Influences on Health, Physical Education, and Sport

This course is an in-depth study of the historical, sociological, and psychological concepts that have influenced attitudes, beliefs, and policy in health, physical education, and sport. Emphasis will be placed on issues, events, and controversies related to race, gender, culture, diversity, economics, religion, and politics.
