SOWK 110 - Social Work Bridge Course

This course is a transition course for undergraduate students transferring to the University of Cumberlands Social Work program from a CSWE accredited Social Work program. This course is designed for students to complete assignments required by the university’s social work program for admission. Transfer students from another CSWE program may have already completed coursework above the course our program uses to admit students. This course will require students to complete coursework related to admission requirements of the University of the Cumberlands Social Work program. The bridge course will be required for transfer students to complete the first bi-term they are enrolled at UC. Students must complete the course with a grade of 80 or higher. Students transferring in will be able to take other social work courses during the time they take the bridge course. Students completing the bridge course with less than a grade of 80 will be restricted from taking further social work courses.
