MUSC 231 - Music Theory and Skills III

Credits: 3 hours
A progressive and in-depth study of modulations and chromatic harmony of the common practice period with constant review and application of materials learned in MUSC 131 and MUSC 132. Skills corroborate theory with studies and practice in melodic and harmonic dictation, sight singing, score reading, rhythmic reading, listening and vocabulary.
