MUSC 333 - Music History I Credits: 3 hours This course provides the student with an in-depth study of the history of Western Art Music from Antiquity through the Baroque Era. The course is designed to teach students to identify musical forms, composers and their compositions, theoretical techniques, and stylistic trends from the following periods: Antiquity, Renaissance, and Baroque. Prerequisite(s): MUSC 232 Offered: every fall semester
