NURS 250 - Mental Health Nursing

Credits: 2 hours
This course utilizes nursing process and clinical judgement in the care of the patient with acute or chronic mental health disturbances. Communication with the client, client support system, interdisciplinary team, pharmacologic considerations, and quality of care, ethical and legal considerations, and mental health promotion are stressed for nursing care of patients with mental health issues.
