SPAN 411 - P-12 Content Knowledge in Spanish

Designed to help Spanish teaching candidates acquire specific linguistic and cultural knowledge needed for teaching in the public schools. Through one-on-one or small group tutorials, students will practice their communicative skills and improve their overall proficiency in Spanish language and Hispanic cultures. Required for all students seeking P-12 certification in Spanish. It is recommended students take this course the semester before taking the Spanish Praxis.
Prerequisite(s): acceptance to teacher education program
