CES 733 - Ethical and Legal Issues in Counselor Education and Supervision

This course examines the professional identity of mental health counselors, counselor educators and supervisors. Students will gain an understanding of professional functioning in a variety of settings. Legal, ethical, and best practice issues encountered by professional counselors will be examined. The ethical standards of the profession will be explored as outlined in the American Counseling Association (ACA) code of ethics.
