CES 835 - Online Teaching & Learning in Counselor Education

This course provides the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively develop curriculum and deliver it online. Instruction includes a survey of the history of the distance education movement; types of online learning environments, instructional design strategies, and methods and best practices of teaching and learning online. Discussion is also provided on learning management systems (LMS) and communication management software.
