LEAC 848 - Student Assessment in Health Professions

This course examines assessment processes in health professions education and the development of reliable and valid measures used in student assessment. Students will gain an understanding of the purpose and types of evaluation and assessment in education with an emphasis on authentic assessment practices and the link between instruction and assessment. An examination of theories and current research around student assessment will be a focus in the course.
