DPT 737 - Pharmacology for Physical Therapists Credit(s): 3 hours This course introduces students to the study of pharmacology as it relates to physical therapist practice. Students will learn about medications commonly encountered during physical therapy management including drug classifications and pharmacodynamics and recognition of adverse drug interactions. Implications for physical therapy practice and patient education are introduced and then expanded upon in subsequent courses. Prerequisite(s): Successful completion of all previous coursework in the DPT Program
