DPT 750 - Applied Human Anatomy Credit(s): 4 hours This course provides students with foundational knowledge of human anatomy including embryology, surface anatomy, musculoskeletal anatomy, neuroanatomy, and vascular supply of the upper quarter, lower quarter, spine, and pelvis, and of internal organs. Students will utilize text, lectures, concept maps, 3D anatomy software, surface anatomy, synthetic human anatomical models, and virtual cadaver prosection to learn anatomical concepts. The ability to relate musculoskeletal anatomical concepts to clinical problems commonly encountered in physical therapy patient/client management is an expected outcome of the course. Prerequisite(s): Admission to Doctor of Physical Therapy Program
