BUPA 662 - Emergency Management & Continuity of Operations

The course will provide students with the understanding of the National Incident Management System (NIMS) and the Incident Command Structure (ICS) in relation to emergency planning, response and recovery. Public entities and public enterprise systems participate in many emergency planning and response processes either independently, as part of critical infrastructure, or as part of collaborative efforts with other governmental bodies and agencies. Completion of the course will provide the student with the knowledge to satisfactorily complete the ICS, 100, 200, 700 and 800 exams through the FEMA Emergency Management Institute.
