NKPA 505 - Medical Procedures and Surgery I

In this course, students employ knowledge, skills, and techniques learned in Patient Assessment to evaluate surgical patients. Students learn to perform procedures such as hand washing, sterile technique, intravenous insertions, SQ and IM injection technique, suturing, wound care, nasogastric tube placement, and Foley catheter insertion.
