The Blockchain Business Certificate is a twelve (12) credit hour graduate-level online certificate program designed to equip students with the necessary skills, practical knowledge of blockchain technology, and understanding of the application of blockchain technology in the business field that they can leverage in their current role or achieve the career advancement they seek in the emerging field of blockchain technology. The Program shares courses with the MSc in Global Business with Blockchain Technology, which has recently been the first Blockchain Business program to be accredited by The International Accreditation Council for Business Education (IACBE).
Learning Outcomes:
- The ability to analyze and apply Blockchain Technology in multiple aspects of business and corporate leadership.
- Learn to research and understand the laws and regulations impacting Blockchain Technology.
- Examine how and why Blockchain Technology will be a disruptive and/or enhancing technology for business, finance and other fields.
- Determine how Blockchain Technology will automate business tasks and make them more accurate, immutable, and transparent.
- Evaluate how Blockchain Technology will remove intermediaries in transactional and contractual relationships allowing reduction of costs and efficiencies in traditional and emerging systems.
Successful completion of the program provides the education needed to understand the basic components of Blockchain Technology and how this technology can be applied and implemented in the business, government and non-profit organizations. Graduates of the program will also be eligible for admission to the Master of Science in Global Business with Blockchain technology degree program upon completing a master’s application and submitting all required documentation.
Admission Requirements:
A minimum undergraduate cumulative GPA of 2.0 is required to be admitted to the Business and Blockchain Certificate Program.
