NURS 674 - FNP Advanced Practice III Credit(s): 6 hours This course provides the theoretical and diagnostic knowledge necessary to confront problems relevant to the health care of culturally diverse individuals/families across the life span. The course will focus on health promotion, disease prevention, minimization of risk to patients, and management of common health problems. Emphasis will be placed on the clinical areas of Adult Gero and Family/Across the Lifespan in the primary care setting. A total of 120 clinical hours will be completed during this course. Note: This course follows traditional 16 week schedule. Prerequisite(s): Admission to MSN program, NURS 510 , NURS 520 , NURS 530 , NURS 532 , NURS 550 , NURS 590 , NURS 592 , NURS 594 , NURS 670 , NURS 672 .
