SPED 337 - Educational Assessment and Prescriptive Programming for Individuals with Disabilities (P-12) Part II Credits: 3 hours This course develops an understanding of how to use assessment information when developing IEP goals and objectives, and when developing academic and behavioral domain instruction for individuals with mild moderate disabilities in specialized and general education settings. Emphasis is on candidates’ practical application of formal and informal assessment through the development and implementation of an individual education plan, general education or specialized classroom instruction, and response to intervention plans. This class will provide hands on application by creating documents that are required for a student’s IEP. The teacher candidate will master each aspect the document Prerequisite(s): SPED 233 , SPED 234 , SPED 236 , SPED 238 , and formal admission to Teacher Education Program.
